Homefront
One of the many controversies surrounding the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre is, whether the women and children killed in the church were blown up by a German bomb or bombs; or in the alternative, whether they were killed by the explosion of a store of bomb-making material concealed in the church tower by the Resistance, accidentally ignited in the course of the incident. All I will say is that there are two sides to the story; I offer absolutely no opinion as to which might be correct or, indeed, whether both might contain an element of truth. Best regards, JR.
