David Low, New Zealand-born British political cartoonist, whose anti-Fascist and anti-Nazi newspaper cartoons provoked objections from Germany and Italy in the pre-war period.  During the war, his cartoons reinforced British opinion in continuing to resist the Fascist powers.  Best regards, JR.

Theatre lobbies like this were used as sleeping rooms until the "Bed For Buddies" program was instituted in Hollywood.  Movie audiences generously supported the drive to find lodgings for men on furlough in Los Angeles.
