Distomo, Greece, November 1944. Woman during the memorial service for the victims of the massacre that took place four months before (which included her mother). A unit of SS Division Polizei were ambushed by partisans outside the village, some killed; the rest went beserk, doubled back, and killed just about everybody they found inside Distomo (300+).
