Jews in the Polish city Lodz (Łódź) occupied by German Nazis. Jews and Poles are the majority of innocent civilian victims of the Nazi German death camps in Poland. First liberators of the Nazi death camps were Poles. 5.08.1944 Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa, AK = kind of anticommie and antinazi underground Polish Army) liberated 348 civilians from Nazi German death camp Gesiowka in Warsaw. Poles used the captured 3 days ago, one tank Panther with painted polish colors. Today on place is the monument with Hebrew, English and Polish text. After war the largest number of awards medals for saving life Jews gave to Poles. Poles punished few famous Nazi German war criminals killing them for example Kutschera (Warsaw), Hoess (Auschwitz), Stroop (Warsaw). Photo: Nazis forced Jews to wearing stars sign.
