The belorussian capitol of Minsk photographed by a soldier of the german tank spearhead on June 29th, 1941. The soldier wrote to this photo about the flashy difference of the concrete high-rise buildings of the communist party department in the back and the dingy wooden huts of the worker families, probably built in the tsar aera.

Two maids of the RAd (Reichs labour service) were awarded the War Merrit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. They were deployed as radio helpers and remained at their posts during a bombing raid. September 1944.
