 On February 17th, 1943, she was sunk in the North Atlantic east of Newfoundland in position 50°36'N, 41°07'W by depth charges from HMS Fame (Cdr. R. Heathcote, DSO, RN)

German flying boat Do24N-1. Used as a transport, patrol and rescue aircraft. Only 11 were built with engine modification during World War II.
