Waffen-SS Hauptscharfuhrer of the 1st SS Panzer Division "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" weds his sweetheart, formal studio wedding portrait, 1943. The bridegroom is wearing day dress uniform. The density of resolution in this photo is not actually that good; one of the badges displayed by the bridegroom (the central one) appears to be an Assault Badge of some sort. A good example of the wearing of the Iron Cross, Second Class on a medal bar. The actual EKII cross was only worn on the occasion of its presentation or on formal occasions such as dress parades and other dress uniform occasions, such as one's wedding.
