Young and very small looking German tanker.No info on the photo.
If I see it correctly the wooden boxes have '....(??)d' aviation' printed on the side=French 'for Aviation ....(??)'
That could place the photo as being taken in France,probably 1940.

Soldiers of the GrossDeutschland Division taking time to light a cigarette during a rest period.They are sitting on the beams of a Soviet Zis-3 gun. On the left is another Zis-3 gun.   Soldier on the left is holding a MP40 submachine gun,the other a MG-42 machine gun.

Time for a smoke

Very young(said to be 13!! on the site) captured German soldier drinking coffee on board of a small landing craft (LCI) departing from the Normandy beaches to a bigger ship sailing to  England.
