Feldwebel RUDOF BRASCHE (1917-1975), KC on November 9, 1942 as an Obergefreiter and squad leader in the 4./PzGrenRgt 93. From June 10 to 12, 1944 -meanwhile transferred to the Panzerlehrdivision- he destroyed 6 Shermans of the British 7th Hussars with "Ofenrohr" and "Geballte Ladung" (bundled hand grenades) near Tilly/Normandy. Three days later he received a shot in rhe upper arm, his 5th of altogether 6 injuries.
