The Finnish Volunteer Battalion on  the march on 2.June 1943 at Hanko was the last of its kind in the history of the Battalion. Soon after it gave up its rifles and later appeared unarmed.

The Finnish Volunteer Battalion was soon moved from the barracks in Vienna to the barracks at Stralsund in order to get more training. Here we have four of its officers:
