Generalleutnant Karl-Wilhelm von Schlieben (left), commander of Festung Cherbourg and Konteradmiral Walter Hennecke (right) at Château de Servigny (Yvetot-Bocage). They are going to meet with Major general Joseph "Lightning Joe" Lawton Collins (commander of the VII Corps) or with Major general Manton Sprague Eddy (commander of the 9th Infantry Division), to sign the capitulation.
