Soldiers and machines retreating, and probably foming a rearguuard, during Operation Bagration. The soldiers on the picture are almost certainly from the recon battalion (the motorcycles...). 

The Grossdeutschland Division was THE most elite unit of the german armed forces. Otherwise it got the nickname, "The Fire Brigade", because it always "saved the day".
