Soldiers of the 7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division, "Prinz Eugen" enter Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina, May 1943. "Prinz Eugen" rank-and-file was composed of Balkan Volksdeutsch, no small number of whom had been conscripted in default of sufficient volunteers. The right collar patch of the soldier at the front carries the Divisional emblem (seen reasonably clearly under magnification). Best regards, JR.
