SS-Standartenführer Dr. Eduard Deisenhofer as the commander of the SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 21 (10. SS-Panzer-Division) near Caen. July, 1944. Note, that he is wearing a camouflage web on his helmet. If I remember well, this was used among the snipers of the Waffen-SS.
