The Panthers in the background are &quot;II 011&quot; (UStuF Renz, platoon leader) and &quot;II 014&quot; belonging to the recce battalion of SS-Panzer-Regiment 5 &quot;Wiking&quot;. The photo was most probably taken near Maciejewo (southeast of Warsaw) in May/June 1944.
