The corpses of the Angler POW Camp escapees who were killed by the Canadian authorities were returned to the camp by dogsled for burial.

Peter Krug enters a Detroit courtroom to attend the trail of Nazi sympathizer Max Stephan on a charge of treason.  After he was transferred to the Gravenhurst camp, Krug escaped again, but this time he was free for less than twenty-four hours.

Adolf Kratz, Werner Schwalb and Johannes Wittinger were tried for the murder of August Plaszek.  Schwalb was sentenced to hang; Kratz received life imprisonment ( he was later returned to Germany after contracting tuberculosis); Wittinger was acquitted.
