Joachim &quot;Jochen&quot; Peiper at the military court of the Malmedy Trial, to his right his defender W. M. Everett. On July 16, 1946 all 73 accused were found guilty, 43 of them were condemned to death penalty, 22 to life imprisonment. All of them were released on parole later on.
