Farewell to fallen comrades

Two officers of the DAK (Deutsches Afrika Korps) salute at the graves of fallen 23-year-old gunner Georg Böttiger and 22-year-old PFC Franz Dahmen. Both of them were killed in action on April 29, 1941 near Sollum at the Libyan-Egyptian border. They found their last resting place at the german military cemetery at Tobruk.
