The German Army was never in a position to pass over any options when it came to transport, however unfamiliar it might have been.  Mind you, I suspect that the soldier holding Camel #1 may have learned some of their habits quite quickly - Camels think - "Together now, one ... two ... three ...Spit !!!  Best regards, JR.
