Auschwitz SS Officers

Another picture from Karl Hocker's photo album of him playing with his dog Favorit. This was taken in the summer of 1944 at Aushwitz, where Hocker was the camp Adjutant. I goofed posting on imi's thread. Hocker died in the year 2000 at age 88.

The Helferinnen (female auxiliaries) did much of the clerical and communications work at Auschwitz. They are pictured here at the SS retreat just outside the camp with camp Adjutant Karl Hoecker.
