They appear to have knocked out a heavy agricultural tractor; whether the NCO at left is congratulating them or cursing is open to debate.  The "G" mark on the inner side of the gun shield is for "Guderian" - commander of Panzergruppe 2 (aka Panzergruppe Guderian) during "Barbarossa".  Best regards, JR.

"Door Knocker" in Russia, 1941.

US Army MP contemplates a FlaK 36/37 88mm anti-aircraft gun in the devastated streets of Cologne, Germany, May 7, 1945. The FlaK was often used in an anti-tank role and this is one specimen. The rings painted on the barrel signify tank kills, One can only imagine the destruction brought by firing such a gun in city streets. Note the ammo cases in the right background.
