Cosselbär” (Bear Cossel) was the name of a teddy bear mascot / trademark of I.Abteilung / Panzer-Regiment 35 / 4.Panzer-Division leadership of Major Hans-Detloff von Cossel (July 1, 1916 - July 22, 1943 ). The battalion was dubbed the “Baren Abteilung” (Battalion Bear) and had the bear logo on each of their Panzers. The above photos were taken in Lgov (Russia) winter 1943
