In the whole of 1943, the German army lost 2,352 Panzer IVs on the Eastern Front;
In the whole of 1944, a further 2,643 Panzer IVs were destroyed;
In the final months of 1945, about 287 Panzer IVs were lost on the Eastern Front.

It is estimated that combat against Soviet forces accounted for 6,153 Panzer IVs, or about 75% of all Panzer IV losses during the war.
Of course, Russian forces, even with better gunned and armoured T-34/85, IS-2 and etc, have suffer far greater losses.

Panzer IV - Italy

SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Kling shows the Tiger to Generaloberst Guderian for inspection. Guderian visited the Leibstandarte's Tiger Company in Kharkov in April 1943.
