Lieutenant Colonel Franz-Josef Kohout (*August 16, 1908 in Waidhofen/Ybbs in Austria, +November 21, 1980 at the same place). Knight's Cross on December 4, 1941 as leader of 2nd Battalion/Panzer-Regiment 33 of 9th Panzer-Division. After the war Colonel of the Austrian Army and later mayor of his hometown.
