During the Battle of the Bulge a german assault gun (Sturmgeschütz) gets camouflaged by its crew. Due to the total allied air superiority this was a matter of life and death.

Sturmgeschütze III G rolling through an italian town. The G-version already had the protected MG on the top but the &quot;Saukopf-Blende&quot;  (pigs head mantlet) of the gun was still missing. The crew baptized their gun &quot;München&quot; (Munich). They belong to the 16th SS-Panzergrenadier-Division &quot;Reichsführer SS&quot;. Rome/Italy, November 1943.
