October 1943: Luftwaffe’s servicemen over a Messerschmitt Bf 109G of the JG53 “Pik As” on a Northern Italy’s airfield (Reggio Emilia?) passed over German control after the Kingdom of Italy’s surrender to Allied forces. Many Italian airplanes are in background: training aircraft IMAM Ro.41 inside the hangar, another Ro.41 (with the pre-war marking on the rudder and the large white band on the fuselage indicating a school plane) outside the hangar, a Macchi MC.200 likely not flyable near the Messerschmitt.
