Two American airmen standing in front of a German plane in Verona-Villafranca’s scrapyard, Italy, May 1945. The aircraft is the Sonderstaffel Einhorn’s Focke-Wulf Einhorn FW190F-8/R1, W.Nr. 581447, A3+LX, employed in night missions. Formed on 5 September 1944 in München-Riem, the Sonderstaffel Einhorn in October 1944, was transferred to Italy. From 2 November 1944 until the end of same months flew some missions from Villafranca Airport, Verona, before returning to Germany. On 1st December 1944 was renamed 13./KG200. Victor Sierra
