Hauptmann (Captain) Victor Mölders (*September 27, 1914 in Gelsenkirchen/Germany), the younger brother of legendary Werner Mölders (killed November 22, 1941 in a plane crash near Breslau/Silesia). Victor managed to score his first aerial victory before his brother and was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class before him. During a fighter bomber attack (with 2nd squadron/Jagd-Geschwader 51) on a London harbour facility on October 7, 1940 Victor was shot down and captured. Until November 1946 he was a POW in the UK and in Canada. After the war he became an architect.

Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves awarded on April 17, 1945. 235 missions incl. 17 ground attacks on Iraqi soil. 52 aerial victories: 50 4-engined bombers (7 US daytime, 43 British at night), 2 fighter planes. Retired as Lieutenant Colonel of the German Bundeswehr.
