A Luftwaffe’s serviceman observe one of the Dewotine D.520 of the Vichy’s Air Force’s Groupe de Chasse (Fighter Group) GC III/6 landed at Brindisi, Southern Italy, 25 May 1941. Brindisi was one of the stop of the GC III/6 ferry flight from Algiers to Rayak, Lebanon, moved urgently to French Syria as reinforcement of the Vichy Forces in Middle East attacked by the British Forces.
