A Martin B-26 Marauder of Forces Aériennes Françaises Libres (Free French Air Force) bombing a target on Italy, likely on Northern Appenines, 1944. After the Operation Torch the Americans re-equipped three French bomber squadrons with Marauders for medium bombing operations in Italy and the Allied invasion of southern France.

"Nicolé", French Resistance femme-fatale, displays her captured German MP40.  Although period for this photo seems authentic, few other details attach - other than that the young lady is credited with the capture of 25 Germans, and killing several others, in the course of the liberation of Chartres, France, Summer 1944.
