Sniper Simo Häyhä during his visiting tour to battlefield of Kollaa, on June 27, 1942. This spot was one of his firing positions. From here he often observed the enemy line and shot numerous soldiers during the winter of 1939-1940. The rocks gave a good cover for splinters and such.
