Erkki Olavi Ehrnrooth (1907-1943) 4 victories (+2 shared) in 80 sorties. He served as test pilot of Finnish Air Force before WWII, and continued the job in Test Squadron (KoeL) during Winter War, and shot down SB-2 and DB-3 bomber flying Fiat G.50 (FA-1, the first G.50 received) in January 1940, and another DB-3 in March, while flying Fokker D.XXI. In Continuation War he commanded No. 32 Squadron (LeLv 32) in 1941-43 and No. 34 Squadron for couple of months before his death in flying accident on March 23, 1943. He claimed one individual victory and two shared victories over I-153's in 1941-42 while flying Curtiss Hawk 75A of LeLv 32. During the wars Major Ehrnrooth was decorated with Cross of Liberty 2nd class, 3rd class, and 4th class.
