M.S.406 ace

Pilot Officer Martti Inehmo (1914-1941), 8 aerial victories in 87 sorties. He served in No. 28 Squadron (LeLv 28) of Finnish Air Force from February 1940, and scored his first victory over DB-3 bomber on March 11, 1940. His next kill was MiG-1 on July 9, 1941, and two months later, on September 9, he downed two I-16 fighters and one I-15bis fighter with his Morane-Saulnier M.S.406. He scored his last kills on October 10, 1941, when he destroyed three MiG-3 fighters. Inehmo was awarded with Cross of Liberty 4th class with swords, and another one with Oak Leaves, before he went missing in action on December 26, 1941.
