Comrades and medic are placing wounded Ragnar Östman (1916-1943) on a sled to be evacuated. He was shot in the chest by Russian sniper Smirnov. Svir river, March 7, 1943. Picture is taken by their platoon leader Lieutenant Harry Järv. Östman recovered from his wound and took part in eliminating the sniper but was killed in action on June 3, 1943.
