Men from JR 11 "Ässä-rykmentti" (Ace regiment) of 4th Division, before outbreak of Winter War. Kuolemajärvi, Karelian Isthmus. These men defended Mannerheim line at Summa area and fought in the Battle of Vyborg Bay until the end of hostilities in March 1940. JR 11 suffered some of the heaviest casualties of the war.
