Finnish Forces
In 1930 the Finnish Airforce bought one W 34 from Germany and later six K 43 versions from Sweden. In 1941-1944 they were used for supplying the long distance patrols working behind enemy lines, and to evacuate the wounded or sick members of the patrols. Five more Junkers W 34's was bought in spring 1944 but they were used as training aircraft. After the war the plane type was used by the Finnish Border Guard until 1950.
