Johannes "Jussi" Sihvo (1892–1949)

In The Winter War Colonel Sihvo commanded the 4th Brigade and then "Group Sihvo", on the karelian Isthmus. In Continuation War he commanded the 10th Division, which also fought on Karelian Isthmus. He was promoted as Major-General in 1942.

Väinö Lahja Rikhard Valve(1895–1995) was a Finnish jaeger general and was the last living one of the first Finnish jaegers.

He fought in WWI in German eastern front and later in the Finnish Civil War of 1918. Valve remained in military career and commanded a Heavy Artillery Regiment 1919-1924, and then served as commander of Coastal Artillery in 1924-1933. He was then made the commander of the Finnish Navy, and he served in that job untill 1944. After that he was the minister of defence 1944-'45.
