The war is over

Finnish flag is set up on the border mark of 3 countries(Finland, Norway, Sweden) to mark that the Germans are driven out of Lapland, as the peaceterms demanded. WWII is over for Finland. April 27, 1945. The country fought 3 wars, the Winter War(1939-'40), Continuation War(1941-'44) and Lapland War(1944-'45). Some 85 000 Finnish soldiers died and over hundred thousand were wounded while preserving their small beloved country's independence . Big land areas were lost in peace terms, but Finland remained independent and it was never occupied by foreign troops. A lot worse could have happened... but didn't BIG THANKS TO THE FINNISH VETERANS OF 1939-1945!
