Just for the record, this was the work of the Waffen SS...a topic that some found dull and unworthy for discussion. This photo shows unburned body parts found with clothing still intact in the ruins of the Church in Oradour-sur-Glane - you'll noticed that some parts are very small, like that of a child's.

Time and time again, we only see sanatize images of the Malmedy Massacre.  This is only one image of what the GI's found.  Here, they also found one body which had a sign post rammed into his upper torso.  Furthermore, it just wasn't one incident, massacres of American GI's and Belguim civilians also took place at
Ligneuville, Stavelotm Cheneux, La Gleize, Trois-Ponts, Stoumont and elsewhere. The killing by the Waffen SS was methodical, and some present took great pleasure in their work.
