On September 25, 1944, near Koevering, this Sherman Tank from the 44th Royal Tank Regiment was Commanded by Lance-Sergeant Walter Worley.His tank was supporting the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment in an attack to push the Germans away from Hell's Highway when it was hit by a German Jagdpanther. Worley's tank caught fire and he and two of the crew were killed

Two weeks before on august 20th 1939 (the war hadn't even begun) the upper-silesian voivode Micha Graczyñski yelled on a meeting of the &quot;Association of the Insurrectionist of Poland&quot; to the crowd: &quot;Strike down the germans, anywhere you meet them!&quot; This terrible slogan was the beginning of the inferno of the last weeks before the outbreak of the war and after.

Here I give you guys another one of the alleged faked photos of the remains of a german soldier who was found years after the war in the fierce-fought Hürtgenwald (Hurtgenforest aka Death Factory to the G.I.'s). Even today seven fallen soldiers (american and german as you can see on other pictures of this section) are found averaged per year in this area (which happens to be &quot;just around the corner&quot; of my place). You can see that the soldiers mortal remains have been collected in his shelter quarter (Zeltbahn), in the upper left corner you can even recognize his rusty MP40.
