Kerch - February 5th, 1944: General Leonard Mociulschi, Commander of the 3rd Mountain Division, here in the trenches with soldiers. He was awarded the "Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross" on December 18th, 1943 for operations against Soviet bridgehead on Mitridat Hill, south of Kerch.
