Set the POW free

In May 1939,the 359 brigade of 18th Group Army captured some Japanese POWs in the battle of Shangxia xiyao,Wutai county,Shanxi Province. Commander of the troop decided to set the Japanese POWs free , hope them to spread anti-war information after their back. This is a photo in the ceremony of the setting free. Chinese soldiers,Japanese POWs(siting with uniform),local villagers attended the ceremony.
