Canadian soldiers examine an abandoned German Ford V3000s 3-ton truck, Falaise, Calvados, Normandy, 1944.  the Germans built some 24,000 of these vehicles at factories in Cologne and Berlin between 1941 and 1945.  As to the licensing status of the Ford product - no idea, but then old Henry was more than a bit of a Nazi himself ... Best regards, JR.
