A Bren gun carrier is used on one airfield for towing trolley loads of bombs through the airfield to the dispersal points. Malta. 19 January 1943 Why Malta?The camouflage on the Bren carrier is the give away.The 'stone wall' camouflage was used on Malta for military vehicles and tanks during WW2.The Maltese used to built low stone walls as borders around fields etc.Still a lot remain nowadays on the Island ;) taken from fb/WWII military info and photos
