59th Newfoundland Heavy Artillery Regiment gunners in the British Second Army NW Europe 1944 with a captured German heavy gun. My grandfather Francis Marshall is sitting on the barrell. Can someone help me identify the artillery peice there? Thank you.

The large 15 inch gun defended Singapore which was considered the most powerful fortress in the world. Everyone believed this except the Japanese which conquered it in 70 days.
