Soldiers of the British 8th Army are on patrol in the street of  Umbertide, an Italian city in the province of Perugia, previously subjected to massive bombing. Autumn 1943.

This Seafire made a spectacular landing on HMS Implacable. The arresting nets have failed, a wheel has separated from the fuselage, and the plane is going into a half somersault.
