RAF Vultee Vengeance action

According to capitation, this Spitfire is carrying two barrels of beer under its wings. Beer has been an important for many armies from the ancient times, and still is. Note the recognition stripes on the plane.

Some more Vultee Vengeance dive brake detail, this time a target-towing machine used for anti-aircraft training in Ceylon. No date given. The square crayon markings would be image cropping instructions from the pre-digital era...
