A sand whirl raised by a British plane. The latter is the Bristol Beaufighter V8318 “F-Freddie” of No 252 Squadron, Royal Air Force moving out at El Magrun, Benghazi District, Cyrenaica, Northeastern Libya. The No 252 Squadron RAF was based at El Magrun from February to August 1943, so the photo date back to this time. After the Blenheim (IF and IVF) the No 252 employed the Bristol Beaufighter Mk I and, November 1942-August 1944, Mk VI. Victor Sierra
