Vertical aerial photograph taken during an afternoon bombing attack on Italian shipping and installations at Valona, the main Albania’s harbor, by eight Bristol Blenheim Mark Is of No. 211 Squadron RAF, flying from Menidi (Tatoi). The No 211 moved from Middle East to Greece middle November 1940 as part of the British Air Forces contingent sent to support the Greeks after the Italian attack. On 17 November 1940 the No 211 is based at Menidi, Tatoi, Athens with a detachment at Paramythia. Victor Sierra

You always hear about the vulnerability of open top SP guns, but they were always meant to be more mobile versions of AT weapons already in use, that is to say, to be driven to a static position then fired. Something strikingly different to the doctrine of an assault gun.
