Hurricanes salvage

Marching along a paved road in front to the Pyramids, after miles of sandy tracks on the desert, the No. 53 Repair and Salvage Unit’s Hurricane salvage convoy of the previous photos is finally near its destination: Helwan, a southern suburb of the town of Cairo, base of a Maintenance Unit and an Aircraft Repair Depot with specialized section for repair of the Hawker Hurricane (Hurricane Repair Section).
